Ivar Bleiklie appointed director of Holberg Prize

Professor Ivar Bleiklie at the University of Bergen has been appointed as the Director of the Holberg Prize. He will be in charge of the secretariat with a particular responsibility for developing relationships with national and international academic communities.
“The Holberg Prize is an important international research prize. The University of Bergen can be proud of being the host institution of the prize. The prize provides a fantastic opportunity to promote research in the humanities and social sciences. My main responsibility is to assist the academic committees and to engage academic communities involved in connection with the prize. We already have a well running secretariat with a well qualified staff that I look forward to work with” says the new director.
Ivar Bleiklie is Professor at the Department of Administration and Organization Theory, University of Bergen. He has extensive international experience.
