March, 2004: Held the Memorial Speeches Together with Professor Nils Christie for the Late Professor Johs. Andenæs in the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, 11th of March 2004.
Aug. 2004 - June 2008: Research Fellow, Faculty of Law, University of Bergen. The project was part of the program Pre-aktiv strafferett (“Pre-active criminal law”) lead by Professor Erling Johannes Husabø, funded by The Norwegian Research Council. The thesis “Fragment til forståing av den rettsstatlege strafferetten” (“Fragments concerning the Criminal Law in a Rechtsstaat”), 745 p. including English summary and list of references, was submitted the 23rd of June, 2008.

The article aims at discussing sociological and philosophical conceptions of modernity and the impact of modernity on criminal law. The article will be approximately 25 pages. The Nils Klim Prize is awarded to young Nordic researchers under 35 years within the academic fields of the Holberg Prize. The prize for 2013 is NOK 250,000 (approx. 32 000EUR /42 000USD).
