Lecture by Nils Klim Prize Laureate 2011
"The Concept of Crime: An Outline" (will be held in Norwegian) by Nils Klim Prize Laureate Jørn Jacobsen
Date: Monday 6 June
Time: 12:15
Location: Aud. 2, Dragefjellet, University of Bergen
The concept of crime, i.e. the structure or system of criteria for criminal responsibility, is a core element of the criminal law. Still, inquiring into this system and its basic concepts has been a neglected task for the Norwegian criminal law science. In this lecture Jacobsen will address this subject and elaborate on a system that does not suffer from the deficiencies inherent in the traditional approach of the Norwegian criminal law science.
